He was predeceased by : his wife Francis; his daughter Brenda Roberts; his parents, Norman Roberts and Ivy Roberts (Pixley); and his sister Ellen Reddig.

He is survived by : his children, Joy Raines of Muscatine, Diamond Lyon of Alma, Tina Jackson of Huntsville, Barbara Noel of Fayetteville, Deborah Taylor of Bentonville and Kevin Roberts of Arkansas; and his siblings, Lyla Moore of Arkansas, Fern Goldsborough of Arkansas, Mary Czarnikow of Arkansas, Sherry Morrell of Arkansas, Cleo of Rudy and Cecil Roberts of Rudy. He is also survived by twenty five grandchildren; forty six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
