She was predeceased by: her mother Joetta Pund Smith; and her husband John "Crutch" Aikman. She is survived by: her father O. D. Smith, Jr.; her stepmother Pat Smith; her siblings, Susie Nicholson of Fayetteville, Carol (Mark Lykins), Angie (Joe Bacik) and Jim; and her sister-in-law Jo Ann Griffin of Signal Mountain, Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
