Betty Davis Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, H. A. Barnard and Juanita Barnard; and her spouse Presley D. Davis. She is survived by: her siblings, Jo Ann Dixon (Jerry) of Fort Smith and David Barnard Sr. of Tyler, TX; her children, Perry Davis (Kourtney) of Van Buren, Angela Self (Mark) of Russellville, Esther Bates (Scott) of Hot Springs and Philip Davis (Janell) of Eugene, OR; and her grandchildren, Erica Davis, Preston Davis (Heather), Jared Self (Micah), Miriam Bates, Callie Gomez (Francisco), Nicole Means and Naomi Bates. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (200 S Denver Ave, Russellville, AR 72801). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church which will be sent to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering for foreign missions.
