He was predeceased by: his parents, Othella May and Minnie Moore May; his son James May; and his siblings, Charles Wesson, Earl May, Claude May and JoAnn Wesson.
He is survived by: his children, Octavious May, Joseph May, Glacious May, Clarence May, Jr., Sabrina May, Laneka May, Diamond Wimbush, Rozaline Gordon, Sylvia Guyton and Bertha "Bebe" De La Torre; and his siblings, Clifford May, Andy May, Marty May, Carolyn May, Bobbie Holt and Linda May. He is also survived by grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
