He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Strickland and Teresa Pruitt; his grandson Hunter Jay Davis; his father-in-law John Campbell; and his brother-in-law John Campbell II.

He is survived by : his wife Shannon Lynn Strickland; his children, Wade Strickland (Monica Davis), DeAnna Strickland and Rory Dodge; his mother-in-law Barbara Campbell; and his brother-in-law Derek Campbell (Nikki). He is also survived by four nephews and several other family and friends.
