We are sad to announce that, on August 4, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Joyce Evelyn Sykes in Russellville, Arkansas, born in Durand, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Wise and Clara Pettit Wise; and her siblings, Carlyle Wise, Gerald Wise, Duane Wise, Robert Wise, Lowell Wise and Twyla Brandner.

She is survived by: her sons, Lauren Meinert (Lois) of Monroe, WI, Steven Meinert (Carol) of Mulberry, AR and Fred Meinert of Monroe, WI; her stepson John Sykes (Vickie) of Russellville, AR; her daughters, Shirla Moody (Roy) of Lamar, AR and Kathleen Stout of Lamar, AR; and her stepdaughter Donna Frix (Guy) of Russellville, AR. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.
