Lora Ann Simmons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lora Ann Simmons of Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Charles P. Rood and Lora Ethel Harshfield Rood; and her brother Monte Rood. She is survived by: her husband J. M. Simmons; her children, Laura Simmons and Joseph Simmons; her grandson Aron-Cole Simmons (Maria); her great grandchildren, McKenzie Simmons and Mateo Simmons; and her close friends, Dorothy, James Millikan, Sarah Harris, Derreck Duvall, Lisa Homan and Karen Ray.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church (2719 S Arkansas Ave, Russellville, AR 72802).
