He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Cates, Everett Cates (Donna Cates), Samantha Deen (Allan Deen) and Jeremy Cates (Brittnee Cates); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Candace, Gunner, Lacee, Delilah, Noah, Mia, John and Ella. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
