He was predeceased by: his father Teddy Eugene Felkins; his daughter Sarah; his stepfather Earl Smith; his grandparents, Earl, Stella Felkins, Dovie Hisaw, Neal Wadley and Minnie Smith; and his grandson Trevor Wayne Coburn.

He is survived by: his mother Bonnie LaVonne Wadley Felkins; his daughter Gabrielle Patterson; his son-in-law Justin Patterson; his grandson Braden McMullin; and his siblings, Veanessa McKinney (Mike), Rebecca Waggoner (Art) and Michael Smith (Pam). He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
