He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wesley and Thelma Pelfrey Brown. He is survived by : his wife Malinda Brown; his son Mikel Jason Brown of Russellville; his sister Deborah; his brother-in-law Bobby Musgrove of Mansfield; and his grandchildren, Tanner of Dover, Haley Wright of Dover and Ashlee Wright of Dover. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
