He was predeceased by: his parents, Sutha Thompson and Bessie Lee Thompson; his wife Hellen Jane Thompson; his sons, Broderick Willis and Wayman James; and his grandchild Kilo James.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia, Danetra, Danesha and Jovanna Willis of Russellville; his grandchildren, Candy, Lycia, Ananda and Shaquan; his children, Tyrone Willis (Lori Gattis) of Russellville, Jaelynn, Zaryiah, Justiz, Zerrick, Taylee, Ryder, Marty Stewart of Hot Springs, Shaylea, Shanden and Tiffany Thompson of El Dorado; and his grandchildren, Za'Kaya and Jayveion, I. He is also survived by children in California; eighteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel (207 Quay St, Dardanelle, AR 72834). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
