Gina Leigh Smith Sheedy Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 24, 2026, at the age of 62, Gina Leigh Smith Sheedy of Sage, Arkansas, born in Alton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior Wayne Smith and Treva Duren Smith; her sister Connie Pollock; her son Russell Sheedy; and her daughter-in-law Jackie Sheedy.

She is survived by: her husband David Charles Sheedy, Jr.; her daughters, Christi Thomas (Kenny) of Mount Pleasant and Sydney Sheedy of Sage; her siblings, James Smith of Sage, Linda Lawerence (Scott) of Sage and David Smith (Joy) of Sage; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Thomas, David L Sheedy, Savannah Sheedy, Sarah Sheedy, Levi Thomas and Gus O'Brien. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends as well as her church family.
