He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Lovelett and Clair Lovelett (McNeil); his daughter Kathern "Cookie" Lovelett; his brother Rodney D. Lovelett, Sr.; and his daughter-in-law Susan Lovelett.

He is survived by : his children, Charles W. Lovelett, Jr. of Florida, Wesley H. Lovelett of Illinois, Richard Lovelett (Tina) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Teresa Sires of Washington, Wilma Dukes of Washington and Roberta Raylien Lovelett of Washington; and his grandchildren, Desarae, Richard, Keena, Immanuel, Tara, Erica, Russell, Dakota, Jennifer, Katie, Robin, Jeremy and Cierra. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
