She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin "Frank" Capps and Vernie "Pearl" Capps Stokes (Croney); her husband Buford Lafferty; her daughter Donna Sue Lafferty; and her siblings, Della Elledge, Dorothy Curtis, Cora Carter, Ernestine Defalco (Barbara Moore) and Frank Capps Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dannie Lafferty (Linda) of Salem, Dewane Lafferty of Viola, Arkansas and Shirley Fritts of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her sister.
