She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellen Campbell Ply and G. L. Ply; her daughter Mary Cornett; and her siblings, J. G. Ply and Joyce Ply.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Newman of Salem, Arkansas; her children, Daniel Newman (Kaylee) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Dana Newman of Salem and Renee Cook of Camden, Arkansas; and her sisters, Mary Ann Ringo (Thomas) of Conway, Ellen Beard of Conway, Debra Sellers of Mountain Home and Betty Pennington of Camden, Arkansas.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Byron Community Building (9057-9173 Byron Rd, Salem, AR 72576).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
