We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2021, at the age of 76, Robert Mitchum of Salem, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James J. Mitchum and Geraldine Mitchum (Sims); and his brother Jim "Fireball" Mitchum. He is survived by : his wife Fran Mitchum (Welch); his daughters, Casey Mitchum of Salem, Arkansas and Sidney Mitchum (Clayton Everett) of Salem, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Jimmie Ann Mitchum; his niece Lynne Mitchum Teague of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Trace, Tripp Martin and Ella Martin.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or the Backpack Program at the Salem United Methodist Church in Salem, Arkansas.
