He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Schaefer and Josephine Podberegar Schaefer; and his son Christopher Hinesly. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Schaeffer of Scott, AR; his children, Brett Schaeffer (Adrienne), Angel Osborne (Bobby), Alicia (Glenn) and Courtnie Schaefer; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jaxon, Emma, Jhett and Presley; his brother Roger Schaefer (Christine); his nieces and nephews, Brooke, Aubree and Austin; and his great-nephew Brandon Grice. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943). A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sweet Home Cemetery (2755 State Hwy 346, Amity, AR 71921).
