He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nicko and Gisela Nicko (Dreschler); and his son Hank Nicko. He is survived by: his wife Ella Rita Nicko (Clauss); his daughters, Karen Kennedy (Ken) of Fort Smith and Laurie Brady (Bob) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Amalie Grinnell of Fort Smith, Sarah Du Preez, Elizabeth Liederbach of Fayetteville, Will Nicko of Barling and Mark Henry Brady of Fayetteville; and his great grandchildren, Reagan Grinnell, Brady Du Preez, John Michael Liederbach, Joseph Liederbach, Max Du Preez, David Liederbach and Lucas Nicko.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicko Family Home. A rosary was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Meinrad Catholic Church (35 St Meinrad Loop, Scranton, AR 72863). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dick's honor to St. Meinrad Catholic Church or Subiaco Abbey.
