Charlene Witcher Lackie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2025, at the age of 85, Charlene Witcher Lackie of Searcy, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyce Witcher and Zadie Witcher; and her son Craig Lackie. She is survived by: her husband Coy Dean Lackie; her daughter Christi Gaither (Kyle) of Batesville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Gaither of Conway, Adam Gaither of Batesville, Daniel Lackie of Nashville, Caleb Lackie of Springfield, Clara Baker (Brett) of Searcy and Calvin Lackie of Searcy; her great grandchild Loretta Josephine Baker of Searcy; and her brother Troy Witcher. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (105 S Spring St, Searcy, AR 72143). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (100 E Moore Ave, Searcy, AR 72143).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Ministry or the WMU (Woman's Missionary Union) at First Baptist Church of Searcy.
