He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmore Kent and Mildred Kent; and his siblings, Johnny, Lowery and Mildred Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Kent; and his children, Mary Bennett, Shirley Hager, Kelly Epley, Tina Smith and Charles Kent Jr. (Julie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
