He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Ray and Trula Odean Cooper Thomas; and his brother Eugene Verlon Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Marietta Shaw Thomas; and his children, Derrel Wade Thomas (Lisa Gail) and Kelley Jean Thomas-Dahl (Peter). He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren along with other extended family.
