He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie Brackenridge and Ellena Brackenridge; and his siblings, Darrell Brackenridge, Eddie Wayne Brackenridge, Laveral Brackenridge, Verlie Brackenridge, Tommy Brackenridge, Goldie Jones, Juanita Rigsby, Doris Stevens and Geraldine Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, James David Brackenridge (Stacy), Randy Brackenridge (Jackie) and Bryan Brackenridge (Jennifer); and his sisters, Sylvia Hooten, Shirley Howard (Larry) and Joyce Stevens (Jerrel).
