“May 5, 2021 laurie j huff wrote a sympathy message “To my dear friend and drummer of Eddie Huff & The Rebels in the 50's, I send my condolences and regards to his family. I have thought of him many times in all the years I've been in Alabama and wished I could find him. I remember him whistling every song I sang as he played the drums at every place we ever played in the beginning of rock-n-roll in the 50's. He was loved every place we played. Rest in peace and the music dear friend. Eddie Huf”
