With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Weir of Searcy, Arkansas, who passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise Weir to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Akridge and Lois Akridge (Stracener); her husband Charles Weir; and her sister Jackie Kazor. She is survived by: her children, Charles Steven Weir (Marie) of San Diego, California and Rita Jo Seely (Brian) of Newport News, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Cecily Weir Jaeger (Andreas), Matthew Steven Weir, Garrett Caelan Weir, Christine Leach (Chris), Karen Diane Syadlack (Michael) and Robyn Elaine Seely. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home (2616 S Main St, Searcy, AR 72143). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Weir Cemetery (3159 AR-267, McRae, AR 72102).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Searcy Children's Home or a charity of your choice in honor of Louise.
