It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Ghent Haynie (Searcy, Arkansas), who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hardin Haynie; and her daughter Hallie Jo Jordan. She is survived by: her son Freddie Haynie (Darlene); her grandsons, Tracy (Robyn), Matthew and Marcus; her great grandchildren, Michael DeLong, Jonathon, Dusten and Grant; her great great grandchildren, Olivia, Isabelle, Wyatt and Emilie; Keith Lunceford.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Park Avenue Baptist Church (211 E Park Ave, Searcy, AR 72143).
