We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2026, at the age of 96, Myrtle Mae Scott of Searcy, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Peoples and Bertha Peoples (Kaler) of Snowball, Arkansas.; her stepson Bert Scott; her son Bobby Scott; her grandson Chris Jackson; her brother Bill Peoples; her grandparents, Jake and Sarah Kaler; and the father of her children Wayne Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Sawyer of Lead Hill, Glenda Hulsey and Kay Jackson (Russ Jackson) of Malvern; and her grandchildren, Kevin Hulsey of Alpena, Treasha Bailey of Alpena, Darla Ames of Worthington, MA, Shane Sawyer of Pittsfield, MA, Billie Jo Rock of Pittsfield, MA, David Sawyer of Malvern, Richard Sawyer of Lead Hill, Patrick Scott of Malvern, Bobby Wayne Scott of Malvern, Tonya Lackey of Malvern and Matthew Scott of California. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Auman Cemetery.
