She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Haynie and Mary Ellen Coles Haynie; and her siblings, Carl Haynie, Bo Haynie, Eloise Garrett and Clint Coles.
She is survived by: her husband David Birdwell; her children, Steve Brasseal (Suzan), Glenn Brasseal, Joy Zavala and Tricia Irving (Matt); her stepdaughter Lisa Anderson (Phillip); and her sister Grace Haynie Spradling. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
