She was predeceased by: her mother Deloris Townsend Ford; her stepfather Lawrence Ford; her sister Vicki Townsend; her granddaughter Edith Blackstone; her father-in-law Murray Elton; and her stepmother Rose Townsend.
She is survived by: her father Arthur Townsend of Ravenden Springs; her husband Jeff Hendrix; her daughter LeighAnne Blackstone (Master Gunnery Sergeant); her siblings, Bradley Townsend (Katy) of Jonesboro and Michele Strommer (Bear) of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, HaiLeigh, Joel and Bray Blackstone; her parents-in-law, Julie Elton and Jerry Hendrix (Dorothy); and her nieces and nephews, Caroline Greeno, Wesley Painter, Anya Townsend and Egan Townsend.
