He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Ortiz; his children, Danny Ortiz (Alda), Javier Ortiz (Letty) of Mission, Texas, Mickie (Johnny Mendoza) of Searcy, Debbie (Frank Vasquez) of San Antonio and Connie Ortiz of New Braunfels, Texas; his siblings, Matias Ortiz (Noeme) of New Braunfels, Francisco Ortiz (Shirley) of New Braunfels, Texas, Andrea Ortiz, Paula Ortiz, Josey Ortiz of New Braunfels, Louisa Gomez and Marion of Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Willie Ozuna, Juan Ozuna (Mary) of New Braunfels, Texas, Emma Ozuna, Francis Luna of New Braunfels and Janie Aleman of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
