He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodberry Hunter and Elouise Benton; and his brother Alva Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hunter; his children, Wyatt Hunter, Wade Hunter and Michelle Morrison; his granddaughter Hannah Hunter; and his siblings, Charlie Hunter and Virginia Spradlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
