He was predeceased by : his parents, Isaac George and Nellie George (Abraham); his wife Peggy George; and his sister Rosalie Rapp. He is survived by : his children, Michael George (Sonya), Steven George (Kimberly) and Debby Sopfe (John); his grandchildren, Ryan (Channing), Aren, Justin (Kristen), Sydney (Lane), Chase, Hayden and Gina (Shane); and his sister Christine Pfeifer (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
