He is survived by: his children, Richard Smith (Amber), Dwight Anthony Smith, George L. Smith (Tammy), Kimberly Ann Johnson (Howard) and April Denise Smith; and his grandchildren, Staisha "Bug", Craig, Chandra, Marissa, Deonte, TeAnna, Richard Smith II, Devin, Vashti, Michael, Derrick, Dexter, Greg, Kabrina and Kamisha. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
