He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Smith and Goldie E. Smith (Anderson); his children, Clarence Jean Smith and Tanya Turney; and his siblings, Billy Main, Bitha Smith, Lula Mae Martin, Joe Vivian Seaman, Cathern Harris, Clara Gatewood, Joseph Leslie Smith Jr. and James Carol Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Smith; his children, Haley Smith of Sedgwick, Joyce Forsythe (Allen) of Russellville, Cynthia Watkins of Atkins, Crystal Parker (Jackey) of Hoxie, Glen Dale Turney of Russellville, Bruce Smith Jr. (Kim) of Walnut Ridge, Jeremy Smith of Black Rock and Brad Smith (Tina); and his siblings, Judy Ketten of Van Buren, Chris Davis (Kenneth) of Fort Smith, Martin Smith (Barbara) of Shirley and Bruce Smith of Russellville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren & several great grandchildren as well as many other family members & friends.
