He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his daughter Cathy Henderson; and his brother Judge Robert Henderson of Magnolia, Arkansas.. He is survived by: his nephew Dr. Robert Henderson, III of Dallas, Texas; his sister-in-law Judy Henderson of Magnolia; Daisy Helen Uhrich of Magnolia, Arkansas.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

“Mary and I have known Don & formerly Betty Henderson for many years. Before Betty's passing they were both very active in the Arkansas Rose Society. Don had evolved to be a fan of the iris and was until recently an active member in the Iris Society in Little Rock. We have a lot of memories of sharing our problems with roses and iris. Don will be very much missed by all of his rose and iris society friends. Our sincere condolences to Don's family and his many many friends, Ed & Mary Carle”
