She was predeceased by : her parents, William Sylvester and Zena Sylvester; her husband Doy Nance; and her siblings, Pete Brooks, Irene Brooks, Elsie Brooks, Billy Sylvester, Charlie Sylvester, Bobby Sylvester, Conrad Sylvester, Jerry Sylvester, Catherine Sylvester and Jackie Sylvester.

She is survived by : her sons, Danny Cason (Tonia), Chad Cason and Shayne Cason; her grandchildren, Aaron Cason, Samantha Cason, Cheyanne Cason, Preston Cason, Marlayna Cason, Rachel Cason, Madison Cason, Guy Cason, Jacob Cason, Cassidy Cason, Kaley Goodwin, Shannon Fout and Josh Hargis; and also Shirley Hobbs.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2686 US-167, Sheridan, AR 72150).
