He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Newman and Betty Diment Newman; his brother Robert; and his stepfather Aaron Griepp. He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Marc Newman (Teresa) and Terri Helland (Mark); his stepchildren, Mark Caldwell (Karen) and LeighAnn Ford (Darren); his grandchildren, Allison Helland, Christian, Brandon, Caity and Carson Newman; his stepgrandchildren, Jordyn Carlson (Josh), Logan Murry (Kayla), Regan Murry, Mason, Cayden (Hayley), Tanner and Eli Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Layne, Dawson, Lylah Brooke Caldwell, Maddox, Myles Caldwell and Elle Carlson; and his siblings, Sharon Novak (Don) of Springfield, Randy Newman (Maria) of Oklahoma City and Tim Newman (Suzanne) of Calgary.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
