She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward H. Downen and Vernie Mae Anders Downen; her husband Wayne Taylor; her daughter Amber Taylor; and her siblings, Martha Mayhugh and Billy Ray Downen.
She is survived by: her son Chris Taylor (Hollie) of Tumbling Shoals; her brother-in-law David Mayhugh of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Cammie Taylor (Christian), Kaitlyn Roberts, Michael Roberts (Emily), Jacob Roberts, Keaton Ross (McKenzie) and Tyler Moss; her great grandchildren, Norah, Waylon, Luke, Delilah and Oaklynn; her close friend Glenda Darnell; and her pet Hope. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2686 US-167, Sheridan, AR 72150). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Cemetery.
