It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Joann Apfel of Sheridan, Arkansas, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Bruce Apfel; her parents, James Smoot and Bessie Helen Smoot of Rison, AR; her daughters, Shelly Mitchell (Michael Dodson) of Sheridan and Laura Langley (Anthony Langley) of Pottsville, AR; and her grandchildren, Stormie, Matthew and Trystan.
