It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kyle Ruth Barnes Pruitt of Sheridan, Arkansas, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Barnes, Sr. and Betty Tribble Barnes; and her husband Sammy Pruitt. She is survived by: her daughters, Shana Cotton (Jason Smotherman) of East End and Becky Billings (Ivan) of Sheridan; her siblings, John W. Barnes, Jr. of Sheridan and Shari Rea (James) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Morgan Cotton, Mikayla Moore (Jacob), Cole Cotton, Madison Greene (Drew) and Emerson Greene; and her great grandchildren, Makynlee, Kason, Lyla, Weston, Hallie, Kya and Mazie. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2686 US-167, Sheridan, AR 72150). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Lost Creek Cemetery.
