She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Faril and Verna Bell Abney Simpson; her husband Gilbert M. Smith; and her brothers, Faril, Herman and Duel Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Mathews (Bill) of Benton, Lori Angel (Ron) of Benton, Terri Weintraub (Steve) of Mansfield Texas and Judi Simpson (Dwight) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Ashley Abbott-Sanders, Brian Harper, Britany Harper, Amanda Short, Kristen Self, Brennan Weintraub, Landon Weintraub, Colin Simpson, Cameron Simpson and Connor Simpson; and her siblings, Eulan Simpson (Alice) of Benton, Leta Veazey of Sheridan and Ima Thomason (Kenneth) of Wichita Falls, Texas.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
