Sue Parsley Obituary

We announce the death of Sue Parsley of Sheridan, Arkansas, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 92. Sue will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G. Mathews and Pearl Veazey Mathews; her husband Victor "Vic" Parsley; and her siblings, Bob Mathews, David Mathews, Jim Mathews, Kay Powell and Dorothy "Dot" Puckett.

She is survived by: her sons, Bob (Carole Parsley) and Ron (Marsha Parsley); and her grandsons, Robert Parsley, Timothy Parsley (Crissa), Kel Parsley and Mark Parsley (Leah). She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (310 W Vine St, Sheridan, AR 72150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Lost Creek Cemetery.
