With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Brainard of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in North Little Rock, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simeon Carter and Elizabeth Ballmat Carter; and her husbands, Don Waters and Dan Brainard. She is survived by: her children, Mike Waters of Sheridan, Jimmy Brainard of Flippin, Dewey Brainard of Little Rock, Eric Brainard of Bentonville, Sharon Waters Aureli of Little Rock and Karen Waters Jackson of Bentonville; and her sister Elizabeth Binz of Little Rock. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
