It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Parrish Shirley (Sherwood, Arkansas), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Parrish and Edna M. Parrish; her spouse Jimmie C. Shirley; and her sisters, Sue Hultsman and Paula Derrick.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Theis (John) of Sherwood and Phil Shirley of White House, TN.; her granddaughters, Lauren Sullivan (Dustin) of Jonesboro, AR, Hannah Lee (Tyler) of San Jose, CA and Kelsi Shirley of White House, TN; and her great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Amelia, Oliver Sullivan, Samuel and Alice Lee.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the First Baptist Church (701 Country Club Rd, Sherwood, AR 72120). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rest Hills Memorial Park (7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117).
