She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Gene Wilson and W. L. King; and her sister Nancy Race. She is survived by: her husband Joe Johnston; her sons, Ryan Johnston (Kimberly) and Timothy Johnston (Samia); her grandchildren, Jordan Land (Peyton Land), Anna Paige Johnston, Sophia Johnston and Jacob Johnston; and her niece Shannon Perri.
