We announce the death of Lawrence Nall Young (Sherwood, Arkansas), who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 95. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Maurice, Oppie, Max, James and Helen; and his brother-in-law Milton Arthur Umsted III (Shirley).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Elizabeth Umsted Young (Betty); his sons, Lawrence Milton Young (Camille) and James Umsted Young; and his grandsons, Lucas Ryan Young (Marissa) of Kingsport, TN and Caleb Milton Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
