The passing of Rosa Lee Cummings (Sherwood, Arkansas), born in Rison, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by : her mother Elsie Lockhart Miller; her husband George Lewis Cummings; and her daughter Sue Crain. She is survived by : her children, Brenda Cummings, Lou Ford, Bruce Cummings (Berta), Grant Cummings (Charlene) and Glenn Cummings (Sonni). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 11:15 PM at the Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church (9921 AR-107, Sherwood, AR 72120). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).

She served on the Worship Committee, Trustees, Altar Arts, United Methodist Women and the Quilting Angels, the quilting group that served their church by donating all monies raised to go back into the church.
