He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Dail Smith; his grandparents, Robert E. Horton Jr. and Peggy Ann Pearson; his great-grandparents, Robert E. Horton Sr., Susie Mae Todd Horton, Charles "Snook" Hamm and Nona Rae Hamm; and his aunt Vicky Lynn Horton.
He is survived by: his mother Catherine Ann Horton Harris of Lonoke; and his sister Melissa Ann Chambers (Scott). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
