He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Axford; his daughter Brittany Axford (Eric Bonnes); his grandson Elijah Bonnes; his brother Jimmy Axford; and his sister-in-law Scarlett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local youth soccer organization or scholarship fund to help provide opportunities for young players, or to a cancer organization of the donor's choice.
