He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Earl and Geneva Butler Chase; his brother Garry Chase; and his former wives, Maribeth DeWitt Chase and Carol Chase.
He is survived by: his wife Suellen Coleman; his children, John Chase (Marian) of Orlando, Florida, Claire Chase (Douglas Gorham), Kit Hansen (Scott) of Adel and Abby Clutter (Archie) of Lincoln, Nebraska; his sister Carol Irwin of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Adam Chase (Jennifer), Megan Emerson (Patrick), Sarah Guidry (Grant), Anna Hester (Davis), Thomas Clutter, Daniel Clutter, Emily Hansen, Sophie Hansen, Alex Harrold and Quinn Harrold; his great grandchildren, Ella, Maggie, Olivia, Reese, Drew, Jack and Millie; his stepchildren, Terri Woodward (Mike), Cara Bland (James) and Misti Stephens (Jim Bob); and his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Woodward, Nathan Woodward, Eli Bland and Ryli. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
