It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Ruth Gentry of Smackover, Arkansas, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Bowman and Nannie Moore Bowman; her daughter Tena Gentry; and her siblings, Juanita Lambert, Nan Stanley, Lee Bowman, Bud Bowman and Billy Joe Bowman.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Gentry (Rebecca) of Springdale and Traci Gentry of Smackover; her grandchildren, Laurie Brigham (Donovan) of Prairie Grove, Justin Gentry of Fayetteville, Phillip Gentry (Latrisha) of Springdale and Kristin Keener (Dustin) of Texarkana; her brother Harold Bowman of Russellville; Lisa Maroney.

The family asks that any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Ladies Golf Association at Pine Hills Country Club in Smackover.
